The Prime Directive

5 Questions You Must Ask When Starting an eLearning Project

1.How do you define/measure success?

2.What is the scope? What problem are you trying to solve?

3.What is the Budget?

4.When does this need to be done? Why?

5.How can this go wrong?

It is imperative to get these questions answered by all stakeholders at the start of any project. Everybody must know what needs to be accomplished and how success will be determined. This is done to avoid complications during the final stages of a project, ensuring that all parties are held responsible for their contributions.

Communities of Practice

Through the use of communities of practice, we will link up our user base to freely communicate with each other. This will provide insight into their thought process and open up new avenues for where our training can be taken. All training materials will have dedicated threads to discuss what was learned, as well as the ability to provide feedback directly back to the instructional team. Many communities of practice already exist on the various social media platforms, it is time we take hold of these resources and use them to better our product.
